Patented tranquileyes xl® with beads delivers the most natural and effective moist-heat home treatment for severe dry eye on the market. The system combines the goggle, reusable gel packs, and water to create 20 to 25 minutes of optimum temperature and humidity, scientifically proven to loosen oils in the Meibomian glands and relieve symptoms. Clogged glands are the number one contributor to severe evaporative dry eye (MGD). The larger XL uses gel packs 30% larger than tranquileyes®, allowing for an extended compress duration, required for severe MGD. Resting over the orbital bones, the XL moist-heat promotes circulation and speeds heat transfer, delivering controlled temperature between 102-110°F degrees.
